Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of our father Ramon Luis Ayala Diaz. Our loving father passed away in Flourtown, PA on May 5th 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.

Papi was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico but grew up with his mother and three sisters in Boqueron, Puerto Rico. He lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure, laughter, music and love. He was a stubborn man that taught us to live life to the fullest and to be of service to our fellow man. He treated his friends as family and would give his shirt off his back if needed and never expected anything in return. He taught us to love our beautiful island paradise and never to abandon our culture and be proud of who we are and where we came from. If you knew my father then you would know where he was because his music was blaring and you could see and smell the smoke of his BBQ. Our life was full of music, dancing, food and always surrounded by friends and family. In his younger years his beer or Don Q Crystal was never too far away.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Aida Luz Matos Viuda de Ayala, his daughters Frances Morales and Verushka Greta Ayala Matos Goodall Parker (Jeffrey E Parker). His sisters Zoe M Paulsen, Laura Kapchan and Helena Wolf (Harvey Wolf). His grandchildren Adrian C Morales (Ana Morales), Dennis M Morales (Crystal Morales), Christopher J Morales, Donovan Wilkins, Rossi Wilkins, Jeffrey E Parker, Jayla T Parker, Jordan and Janeer Parker. He is preceded in death by his mother Eduvijis Diaz Muñiz and his father Jose Monserrate Ayala Graniela.

As per his wishes there will only be a private memorial with his immediate family. We ask that you please respect the family's privacy.
