Patricia Oxenford Obituary

Patricia Ann Oxenford, 82, of Pottstown, passed away on December 30, 2021. Patricia was born in Birdsboro to James W. and Verna M. (Buchanan) Kinckiner on April 4, 1939. She married William T. Oxenford Jr. on April 4, 1959.

Patricia is survived by her children Patricia Montgomery, William Oxenford III and James Oxenford (Jennifer); her sister Sandy Mitchell (Joel); and her grandchildren William Oxenford IV, Colin Montgomery (Amber), Mark Moran (Rachel), Caely Montgomery (Michael), Michael Oxenford, Jessica Oxenford, Sophia Oxenford and Emily Oxenford. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Marcus, Summer, Jaxon, Nicholas, and Kamryn. Patricia is preceded in death by her beloved husband William T. Oxenford Jr., and her infant daughter Jennifer Oxenford.

Pat (affectionately called “Tish” by her husband and family) was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, godmother, and cherished friend to many. She was a friend to all animals and loved many family dogs as children over the years, including Maxine, Buster, Yoshi, and Teddy. Pat enjoyed feeding and caring for the many birds who visited her charming backyard garden. Pat loved plants and flowers and seeing them grow and thrive in her care.

Pat loved staying at her beach property in Delaware, especially with her children and grandchildren, sharing many fond memories there with her husband and family. A testament to her childlike spirit, Pat was an avid video game player and passed the hobby on to her children and grandchildren. More than anything, Pat loved being with her family in her beautiful home and taking care of all of those she loved most.

A private celebration of Pat’s life will be held at a future date when gatherings are safer for everyone. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all who helped care for Pat in her final days and for all who have extended kindness and support during this difficult time.
