Michael J Pessiki

Michael John Pessiki, known by many as “Big Mike”, of Furlong, PA passed away on April 22nd surrounded by his family. He was born in Philadelphia on September 23rd, 1953 to the late Joseph and Catherine Pessiki. After growing up in Southampton, he graduated from William Tennett High School, where he met his loving wife, Karen. He went on to graduate from Temple University with a degree in Business Administration and then earned his MBA from Temple University as well. He served as an executive for several companies over his career including serving as the CEO of B&G Equipment and the CFO of Wissahickon Spring Water.

Michael enjoyed planning adventurous family vacations, taking road trips, spending time in Ocean City NJ and golfing locally, as well as golfing at some of the best golf courses in the country. Mike always led an active life. He loved running, playing tennis, biking and most recently attending the sporting events of his grandchildren. He did it all with a big heart and a smile on his face. Above all, Mike loved his family and spending time with all of them. His grandchildren brought him many hours of joy.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Karen; one daughter, Lauren Zibelman (Robert) of Warrington, PA; one son, Michael Pessiki (Samantha) of Huntington, NY; and six grandchildren: Ryan, Audrey, Annie, Luke, Michael III, and Peyton. He is also survived by his siblings: Jacqueline Scott (Roger), Joseph Pessiki Jr., Peter Pessiki, and Stephen Pessiki (Monika).

Family and friends are welcome to attend a funeral mass for Michael which will be held on May 3rd, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church located at 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington, PA 18976.
