IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gerald "Jerry"
Czarick
November 21, 1936 – May 18, 2025
Gerald "Jerry" Czarick, 88, of Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025. Born on November 21, 1936, in Hazleton, PA, Jerry was a beloved figure in his community, best known for his 50 dedicated years as the neighborhood barber, serving generations of families with care and pride.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Jerry embodied loyalty, kindness, and service. He shared 67 beautiful years of marriage with the love of his life, Nancy Czarick. Together they built a family rooted in love and laughter. Jerry was a devoted father to his son, Jerry, and daughter, Cindy (John B.) Flood, and a proud grandfather to Marissa, who brought him immense joy.
Jerry had a deep love for nature and took great pride in tending to his yard, creating a peaceful sanctuary that reflected his appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He was also a lifelong dog lover, and nothing brought him more daily happiness than the companionship of his cherished schnauzers, who were constant and loyal by his side.
Above all, Jerry was known for his contagious laughter and his pure love of laughter itself. He had a gift for finding humor in the everyday and lighting up a room with his unmistakable laugh. His joy was infectious, his spirit magnetic, and his warmth unforgettable.
Though he will be deeply missed, Jerry's memory lives on in every smile he sparked, every story he told, and every bark from a schnauzer that echoes his playful heart.
A funeral service honoring Jerry's life will be held on Friday, June 6, at 1:00 p.m., at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940, with a memorial lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry's memory may be made to the Women's Humane Society in Bensalem.
